Cathodic Protection Monitoring

Once any cathodic protection system has been installed and energized, a commissioning survey must be conducted to ensure adequate cathodic protection levels are being applied to the structures.

As well, depending on the type of cathodic protection implemented (impressed current or sacrificial) an annual or bi-annual potential survey is recommended on the entire system. This ensures that all equipment and anodes are functioning normally and that all desired facilities are being afforded complete cathodic protection.

Interior Corrosion Services technical personnel perform the fieldwork, record all pertinent information and prepare the subsequent report.
